Commonly Asked Questions About Our Drinking Fountains


Q. Do you supply a backflow on the fountains?

A. No, any plumber will be able to fit this for you.

Q. Do you install the fountains?

A. No, but any registered plumbing can do this for you. Our fountains are very easy to install – plug and play. 

Q. Do you supply everything needed to install the fountain?

A. We supply the fountain and all internal plumbing. The plumber will just need to source the bolts appropriate for where the fountain will be mounted (and protective caps if needed/wanted) 

Q. Can we buy a replacement bubbler tap?

A. Yes, all mountain Fresh fountains are now fitted with WBUB-L. If there’s a fault with the tap but the tap itself is fine then you may only need WBUB-L-RC replacement cartridge. 

Q. How often do I need to replace my filter?

A. Once every 12 months

Q. What Maintenance is needed on the drinking fountain?

A. Regular cleaning of the bubbler tap is recommended to avoid lime scaling. This can be done with a soft brush and warm soapy water. The base and the body of the fountain can also be washed down with warm soapy water as required. If you’ve purchased a powder coated model, do not water blast or use harsh abrasive products as this will damage the coating. Warm soapy water is the best option. If you’ve purchased a stainless steel model, they can be water blasted and 3M stainless steel protection sprayed onto the body to help protect against environmental elements.

Q. How long is the warranty on the drinking fountains?

A. 12 months from the time of purchase.

Q. What are the paint colour options?

A. All Galvanized Steel Drinking Fountains are painted using Dulux Power Coat range
